about

Alix Bullock

Alix is a 30-year-old who received her Masters in Fine Art in Fiction from The University of New Hampshire in 2017 shortly after finishing her undergraduate degree. After a few years of little-to-no writing, Alix has found her way back to her keyboard in the mist of the 2020 pandemic, as so many “writers” have.

Her fiction is inspired by the small town where she spent her first eighteen years running, swimming and growing and the humans who have left lingering impressions. Her characters hold a strong place in her imagination as she writes of their passions, their heart aches and the deepest fears that keep us all up at night.

In the last two years she has also found a new love of non-fiction, writing personal essays about love, dating, self acceptance, her fears and chaos that encompasses her daily life, as she navigates her late twenties.

Alix currently lives on an island in Alaska with her eight year old mutt Kona, her partner and his dog Elsa. When she is not writing she can be found traveling, laughing with loved ones, working in the service industry or wandering amongst the trees with her head in the clouds.
